Hertz defines a midsize car as a Group "C" car. If you want a specific car, you can book it in advance. These cars come at a higher price and are located in the President's Circle, Manager Special Area.
President's Circle
Hertz President's Circle members receive special benefits and access to services. You can get a discount of 50% on rental rates when you rent a car through Hertz for your spouse or domestic partner. You can also gift your status to a family member or friend. This opportunity is only available until June 30, 2013. 5-Star Aisle
The Five-Star Aisle at Hertz Ultimate Choice provides members with a choice between full-size cars and compact vehicles. The Hertz Five-Star Aisle includes full-size cars as well as SUVs, minivans and pickup trucks.
Emerald Executive Aisle
In order to qualify for Hertz's Emerald Executive Aisle, you need to rent a car at least twelve times in a calendar year. You also need to hold certain credit cards. For those who meet the criteria, they will be eligible for a free upgrade into an executive car if they pay the middle rate. You can also select any car you wish from the executive range and only pay the middle rate if driving to an Emerald Aisle airstrip.
Enjoy discounts on rentals for one week
You can get a discount on one-week rental cars from Hertz if you sign up for their Gold Plus Rewards program. You can book a car from the middle-sized or higher class range through this program. Upgrades for loyalty members
Hertz Gold and Five Star loyalty members have the option to upgrade to Ultimate Choice.
